Custom research peptide projects

Define the sequence, modifications, analytical requirements and packaging for your laboratory project.

Research-use-only packaging concept

A sequence-led specification starts the project

A custom peptide enquiry should begin with the exact sequence and its notation, including terminal groups, stereochemistry and any requested modifications. Provide the intended laboratory application, target quantity and analytical acceptance criteria so the team can assess feasibility. If your project requires an unusual linkage, conjugation or purification approach, describe the analytical evidence that would demonstrate a successful result.

Purity targets alone are not a complete specification. Decide how identity, peptide content, counterions, residual solvents and water will be assessed where relevant to your experiment. Packaging can then be matched to the material and the planned handling workflow. We welcome project briefs for research peptides and associated OEM packaging, subject to technical and legal review. This service is separate from the CBL-514 clinical program and does not imply that its proprietary formulation can be reproduced through peptide synthesis.

  • Exact sequence and modification map
  • Identity and purity methods, with acceptance limits
  • Total amount, target fill and container requirements
  • Required COA, SDS and supporting analytical files
  • Intended laboratory use and destination

Frequently asked questions

Can a custom request use a trade name without defining the material?

A trade name alone is not enough. For peptides, provide the sequence, termini and modifications; for another material, provide an unambiguous identity and the required analytical and use information.
